Susan Marquez Writes.
I’m curious.
It’s my nature. I’m curious about the world around me. I want to know about the places we visit every day. I also want to know about the out-of-the-way, off-the-beaten-path places that may be obscure, but not forgotten. I want to know the story behind the place. I want to dig deeper to make a connection that makes sense.
Everyone has a story. I think those stories should be told. Some stories make you smile. Some make you think. Some make you want to get off the couch and get involved in the world around you. I love hearing those stories. And I love writing them.
I’ve been writing feature stories for over twenty years. Thousands of stories heard, experienced, witnessed and written for dozens of newspapers, magazines, business journals, trade publications, and online news sources.
Because of my work, I know a little bit about a lot of things, which makes for great conversation at cocktail parties. You’ll know me when you see me. I’m the one asking all the questions.
What are you curious about?
Susan Marquez writes well, crafting stories that get information to readers easily while entertaining them. Her writing is sparked with interesting quotes, showing her talents as an interviewer. She is also a great time manager, most often being ahead of deadline instead of merely meeting it. I would highly recommend her as a freelance writer.
